TITANS-COLTS COLLUDED PER MSNBC 01/04/2008
The Colts and Titans, according to MSNBC, had communicated prior to their Sunday Night Football game and established ground rules to let the clock run out no matter what. This act is commonly referred to as collusion and the NFL has rules against it, so there could be repercussions for both of the participating teams. The Colts could have called a time out with 25 seconds left and got the ball back to try to win the game but they chose not to spend their time outs. CommentsTheJMan Fri, 04 Jan 2008 10:13:00 They wouldn't have scored anyway. No timeouts would have been down 9 because Fisher said the Titans would have kicked the fg anyway and Bironas is automatic. It wouldn't have mattered anyway. Just yet another thing for you Browns fans to be crying about. Why dont you guys have some WamBurgers and FrenchCries. Leave a Reply |
